This is among the best decision I have ever taken in my life: making my own zero waste deodorant. Too many times I have heard of those great, latest deodorant made with blabla and chemicals, only to find out a few months/years later that it was terrible for health. II feel it happened enough times for me to take the time (by time, I mean few hours of research, about 5 minutes per attempt) to make my own natural deodorant. Doing so saved me a lot of money, makes me feel good about not polluting the planet furthermore, and my skin looks a lot healthier!
This one is highly simple, takes no time, smell great and last for a fair amount of time. I do not regret my old deodorant!
The toilet Frizzles is among one of the first DIY cleaning recipes I found that really has nothing to envy to big companies products! I did mess up the first time I made it and will tell you all about it so you don’t have to go through the same mistakes.
The toilet frizzles are a great solution to easily clean your toilets without massive amount of chemicals. Enough said, let’s get started:
There are many different recipes for homemade zero waste laundry detergent. You can find powder or liquid types with different bases. Place like Pinterest can provide a lot of great info when starting to get into the trend. Here are my two favorite recipe! (I will share in the future powder recipe, but everything on their own time.) Regarding the smell to give to your laundry, I recommend you change it based on the season and use different essential oils or blends for extra benefits.
Making Your Own beauty products like toothpaste, is more rewarding and empowering that I would have ever through. It always impress me how fast and easy making things by ourselves can be! It took me a while to get into the DIY spirit, as I would think I didn’t have the time. Truth is, I spend less, use less and what we use in the house is non toxic! You have 5 minutes? Give it a try: You’ll find many different ways online to make your paste. They often use key ingredients such as baking soda or charcoal but that doesn’t mean there’s only one way to go!
This should be in every home. Wether you make it yourself, or buy it at the store, apple cider vinegar is a key ingredient to reducing waste and simplifying life at home.
